Deep Silver Games will release new DLC for Metro: Last Light this summer! Are you ready?
In June, Deep Silver will be releasing Metro: Last Light’s first installment of DLC. They will also be releasing other DLC for the game over the summer, so don’t make any big plans! If you want to be the ultimate Metro fan, you can pre-purchase all of the DLC with a discount by buying a season pass for $14.99 that also comes with other features such as new guns and firing modes.
The first installment is coming next month, the ‘Faction Pack’ and the ‘Chronicles Pack’ will include new, original single player that expands Metro: Last Light’s universe and story. This DLC will not continue in the shoes of Artyom, but will show the stories of other characters.
“Artyom’s story may have been concluded in Metro: Last Light, but there are other characters with stories to tell, some familiar locations that fans of the Metro series wanted to revisit, and some new challenges that 4A wanted to explore,” said Andrew Prokhorov, Creative Director at 4A Games. “Since completing the game we have been working on these new stories and hope to release them throughout the summer.”
The other downloadable content that will be released after the Faction Pack is the ‘Tower Pack’ that gives veterans of the metro a unique solo challenge. The last on that will be dumped out for players is the ‘Developer Pack’ that will give creative players some interesting tools in which to explore the world of Metro. These DLC are definitely something to be excited about, so be sure to check look out for them!
