Unreal Engine technology isn't just for blockbuster video games any more. The tech is being used to train everyone from nurses to federal agents.
Epic Games Unreal Engine technology is being used more for than just big games like Gears of War Judgment, BioShock Infinite and Deadpool. There's big business in serious games. Epic will be at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), which is the world's largest modeling, simulation and training conference with over 20,000 attendees from over 56 countries and 250,000 NSF of exhibit space. It brings together industry experts, armed services, academia, and various government agencies to improve training and education programs and to identify modern training issues. I/ITSEC will be held December 3-6, 2012 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL (www.iitsec.org).

ARA’s Virtual Heroes Division will showcase the company’s Advanced Learning Technology applications for education and training including: HumanSim, Rapid Unified Generation of Urban Databases (RUGUD), Shared Architecture for Dynamic Environment (SHADE) and the Virtual Heroes ‘Go’ platform for browser based 3D content delivery. In addition, Epic Games will participate at I/ITSEC with ARA-Virtual Heroes by providing scheduled demonstrations of the latest Unreal technology for select licensees, partners and prospective customers during the exhibition.
