Wario is trying his hand at the fundraising game.
Wario has done it all. Go-kart driver, treasure hunter, and game creator. Now he is trying to add fundraising to his list of many talents with the launch of his own crowd sourcing site, Crowdfarter.com. It would appear that Wario doesn’t think he can get the greatest game in the world out by June 23 so he felt he needed a fundraising web site to drum up money for the game. What could possibly go wrong?
“Game & Wario is an entertaining collection of uproarious games that uses the Wii U Game Pad controller in unique and hilarious ways,” said Wario, CEO of WarioWare, Inc., and all-around amazing guy. “WAHAHAHAHA! THAT WAS MY IMPRESSION OF A SUPER-SERIOUS GUY IN A SUIT! GAME & WARIO IS THE BEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF TIME! IT’S THE YEAR OF WARIO! WAHAHAHAHA!”
Fans of the game can visit the site and donate coins to the cause by liking the page on Facebook or tweeting about the game on Twitter. As more and more fans “donate” to the cause, more goals will be met on the site. The more goals met, the more rewards will become available to the masses. From wallpaper to a ring tone, there really is no telling what you could get from helping Wario reach his monetary goal. In addition, Wario will be providing updates to the page daily and those could range from nonsense to game details, like today’s reveal about the game, Ashley. Not much was revealed about the game but it looks like you control Ashley the witch in a dessert filled location.
