Batman, Superman, and Kirby. That sounds like a great combo to me.
It’s that time of the week and you know what that means, another batch of Nintendo Downloads from the eShop for you to buy! This week appears to have some “higher level” material for the eShop compared to previous weeks. You will want to make April 16th down on your calendar because Injustice: Gods Among Us for the Wii U and the eShop and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers for the 3DS eShop will be available for download. Also available from the 3DS eShop is Dillon’s Rolling Western: The Last Ranger and Kirby’s Adventure for the Wii U eShop (starting on April 17th) as well as Soccer Up 3D (3DS eShop) and Clash of Elementalists. (EShop 3DS/DSi) Enjoy the games this week.
Injustice: Gods Among Us has the players jump right into the DC Universe and the iconic battle between good and evil. Join forces with Batman, Superman, and Wonder woman in their fight to keep the peace against the likes of the Joker and Lex Luthor. The game plays very similarly to the Mortal Kombat franchise and why shouldn’t it, the guys at Nether Realm Studios worked on the game. You’ll be able to download the game to your Wii U starting on April 16th so make sure you grab it as soon as you can.
This installment of the Shin Megami franchise hasn’t been seen in the United States before so fans of the series will want to get their hands on it as soon as possible. The world of tech meets the otherworld where the players fight to control humanity in this so-called perfect society. The RPG elements are still there so old school fans should be able to pick it up and get right into it. Newcomers to the series should be able to grab a copy and get into it as well. Graphics and voice actors are just some of what makes this game a must have. You can download it starting April 16th.
Dillon’s Rolling Western burst onto the scene last year and Nintendo isn’t wasting anytime getting the sequel out to the masses. The Last Ranger plays similarly to the first installment in the franchise where Dillon fights by rolling into enemies to protect towers and other parts of the various towns. Introduced into the Last Ranger, Dillon can recruit members for his team by defeating them throughout the game. Also new to the series is a train that must be protected in each level of the game. The train adds another strategic level to a game that was already chock full of strategic decisions to be made. Also this month has Kirby’s Adventure, the hit NES game, available from the Wii U eShop at the special price of 30 cents to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Famicon. Kirby fans who weren’t around the first time this game came out will have to give it a shot. This is another special release for the game, which has already been given the 3D make-over. This game has some of the best music on the NES, such as Butter Building, which was remade for Smash Brothers Brawl. Will you be able help Kirby fix the Star Rod? You’ll find out April 17th when the game is available.
