Wrestlemania Axxess will provide the backdrop for 2K Sports very first WWE video game challenge.
WrestleMania is just around the corner and 2K Sports is getting its game on. Two short days before they leave it all inside the ring upon The Grandest Stage of Them All, your favorite WWE Superstars, Divas and Legends will be mixing it up in WWE ’13 as part of WrestleMania Axxess. Best of all, even if you can’t make it to the event itself, you can watch the entire tournament LIVE on the 2K Twitch.TV channel on Friday, April 5 at 9pm ET. Current game champion AJ Lee talks about video games in the exclusive video below.
As in years past, the Superstar Challenge will take 16 WWE Superstars and Divas, and place them in a single-elimination WWE ’13 tournament on Xbox 360. The winner receives a trophy, an Xbox 360 and more importantly, the supreme bragging rights that come with being the 2013 Superstar Challenge Champion. This year will see Damien Sandow, Divas Champion Kaitlyn, Zack Ryder, Big E Langston and more step inside the virtual ring.
You can watch the entire tournament live and in person, starting at 9pm on Friday, April 5 in the main ring at WrestleMania Axxess , taking place at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J.
