It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at the Victor's Video Vault demo on Steam!
Work at a video store, they said. It would be fun, they said. If you ever wanted to live your fantasy of working in a video sore, this could be the game for you. That being said, there is something off about this video store as well so if you don't mind the occasional flooding inside the store or video tape cyclone, then welcome aboard.
Victor's Video Vault reminds me a lot of those simulation games. What I mean by that is it has that look and feel to it. You also have things you have you do like checking customers out, restocking the shelves, putting boxes away, etc. You'll also have to figure out what's going on inside this spooky place because it feels like there is para-normal activity going on. You can see from the hands-on video that the store floods and we have to deal with something fishy.
I grew up going to video stores and this game gets the look and feel of those stores down. I don't remember being monsters in my blockbuster video, but if there were, it would have the look and feel of Victor's Video Vault. You should check it out!
