Chichuki Plays Stackmon Demo

It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at the Stackmon Demo on Steam.

Stackmon is an interesting combo between an auto player game and a monster tamer. It does a cool job in allowing you time to purchase booster packs to unlock new goods/items. You have the option to sell things that you can unlock for money. In turn, you can buy new, better booster packs with more money.

Like most monster tamer games, you will have the chance to pick your starter monster. I went with a grass-starter, but all three starter monsters have their strengths and weaknesses. You'll be able to find new locations and recipes as you make your way through the journey. There will also be new trainers to fight as well as new monsters to catch. As I mentioned prior, each monster has their own strengths and weaknesses. I think if the game did a slightly better job showing what those weaknesses/strengths were, it would make battling more enjoyable.

Stackmon is a Demo so there could be things changed from this build int the final product. I enjoyed my time with the demo and am looking forward to the release. I'd like to thank the devs for the review code.Make sure you check out the hands-on video below!
