Comedic Microvania The Prisoning: Fletcher's Quest Launches on GOG.com

Acclaim and Swedish indie studio Elden Pixels are thrilled to announce that the surreal comedic microvania The Prisoning: Fletcher’s Quest is now available digitally on GOG.com. The game is priced at $14.99 and is available with a 20% launch discount for seven days.

Originally released on Steam and Nintendo Switch in February, The Prisoning: Fletcher’s Quest is the latest title from the team behind Alwa’s Awakening, Alwa’s Legacy, and A Void Hope.

“Players have been asking us for Acclaim titles on GOG, so we’re incredibly excited that The Prisoning: Fletcher’s Quest is the first step in what we believe will be a fantastic partnership with GOG,” said Marc Anthony Rodriguez, Director of Publishing and Strategic Partnerships at Acclaim. “Elden Pixels created something genuinely unique with Fletcher’s Quest, and we can’t wait for a whole new wave of players to dive headfirst into the madness, mayhem, and surreal humor that makes this game so fun & memorable.”

Players step into the fractured mind of Fletcher Howie Jr., a developer on the brink of a mental breakdown during the final stages of a massive project. Following a disastrous therapy session, Fletcher becomes trapped within his own subconscious and must confront his fears and anxieties in a bizarre and comedic microvania adventure.

To celebrate the game’s launch on GOG.com, Acclaim has released a launch trailer showcasing Fletcher’s surreal journey through the recesses of his strained psyche.
