Chichuki Plays the Slash Zero Playtest!

It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at Slash Zero on Steam!

Fans of roguelikes will want to check Slash Zero out. This is a 3D anime-style roguelike action platformer. At the start you have the option between Nyx and Fina. I went with Fina because she is the ranged attacker. AND I like her design. As a member of the Timehackers, you’ll leap across divergent timelines, seek out the uncorrupted Authority Keys, unlock unimaginable power, track down HIEROS, defeat him, and save the world!

Common 3D roguelike movements and attacks to start in this. You'll have to clear out a room before the streetlight will come on, allowing you to traverse to the next section. There will be a slight flash after taking down the last enemy in the room, so you know you killed everything. You'll be rewarded with power-ups to make your build even stronger. You will want to be string down the line because enemies can get powerful.

The hub area is the Frontier Chip, a bar where Timehackers hang out. It's also the place where you can buy new equipment, upgrade certain things and get information. It's also where the voice acting is super good. In games like this, I wish there wasn't dialogue while action is going on. There is so much going on that it's hard to focus on the voices.

Learn skills/attacks that best suit your combat style. Learn the ways of the Timehacker and save the universe from HIEROS. This is a game to keep an eye out for. Make sure you check out the hands-on video below!
