Hands-On With Fractured Blooms-PAX East 2026

My last appointment at PAX East this year was with Serenity Forge. The folks known for Doki Doki Literature Club showed off a new horror-like game at the show, Fractured Blooms.

Tend to your garden and take care of your day-to-day life as Angie. Angie is trapped in a time loop and it’s up to the player to help and figure out why. You’ll have to take care of the chores at the farm like planting crops, watering them, and cooking. You have a limited amount of stamina and each task takes a little bit away. You’ll have to plan your days carefully in this interesting psychological life sim.

Cooking a meal is like the unofficial end of the day. You’ll make your way upstairs to go to bed. However, before you go to bed, you’ll have to find the laundry and do the wash. Try and do the wash quickly so you can get a lot of sleep and regain stamina. Like I mentioned before, you’ll need stamina to do tasks on the farm. Each new day something will change in your life and you’ll start to notice the time loop. A voice over will try to get you to do new things, like plant new seeds or skip out on something.Collecting laundry is scary enough but the upstairs of the house is overrun with roots and a monster entity. You’ll have to dodge all of it as well as find new paths in the house to collect clothing to wash.  I’m interested in checking out just how things change in the full version of the game. This demo and the Steam demo that was available recently were one and the same. So if you missed it at PAX East, you should be able to play it on Steam.
