It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at Where the Chips Fall on Steam. Fans of Blackjack and Roguelikes will want to check this one out.
I really wish all games would let you change the resolution of the screen. I get that it's an early build of Where the Chips Fall but some of the screen was cut off.
The name of the game is Blackjack, by any means necessary. Each chip you gain control of could make the difference in the game. One 1-dollar chip could toss out another chip so be on your toes. That being said, the dealer you're playing against could have an ability as well so just another obstacle to deal with. You will lose track of time playing this game because I found myself wanting to play more and more after getting screwed over in the previous game.
I really like the way the game is going for that old-school animation style similar to the likes of Cuphead or 1930's classic cartoons. With a little polish, Where the Chips fall could be the next unexpected game of the season.
