Mina The Hollower Demo Comes to PlayStation 5

Independent game developer, Yacht Club Games announced during today’s State of Play that their upcoming top-down action adventure game, Mina the Hollower, will be launching in Spring 2026.

After more than 6 years of work, Yacht Club Games is in the final stretch. Mina is their most ambitious game ever. Its massive, densely interconnected world spans dozens of distinct regions and contains more total screens than the entirety of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove. Across that world, players will face more than 25 bosses and mini-bosses, discover 60 Trinkets, upgrade their weapons, grow stronger through a full level-up system, explore New Game Plus, and experiment with hundreds of gameplay modifiers. Bringing a game of this scope and density to a state of final polish has taken time, but the end is now in sight.

Yacht Club Games will announce the exact release date once all console submissions are complete and the launch is fully locked in.

“We spent many years carefully building Mina the Hollower. It took longer than we expected and demanded everything from our team, but we kept refining it until it felt right. Now we are excited to finally share it with players everywhere, and we truly hope you will enjoy it.” said Director, Sean Velasco.

This limited-time demo gives players their first chance to hollow into Mina’s bizarre world full of monsters and mystery on PS5. The demo will be available from Feb 13th, 2026  to Feb 27th, 2026. The demo features the game’s opening stage and concludes with the first major boss fight. Progress made in the demo will carry over to the full game at launch. This is the last time the demo will be available so delve in today!
