Today Bloober Team, alongside Americas distributor Skybound Games, is excited to announce that the Nintendo Switch 2 physical edition of Cronos: The New Dawn is now available at select retailers including Amazon and GameStop ($59.99). The third-person survival horror experience launched digitally across all game platforms to critical acclaim in September.
The Cronos: The New Dawn physical edition includes the base game on a Nintendo Switch 2 game-key card, along with exclusive content: a unique Traveler skin, a cache of valuable digital supplies, and a collectible sticker set inspired by the eerie world of Cronos.
Since the game’s digital launch, Bloober Team has addressed minor issues reported by players and implemented several quality-of-life updates on the Nintendo Switch 2. Bloober Team has also been nominated for “Studio of the Year”, and Cronos: The New Dawn nominated for “Best Audio” in GamesRadar+’s 2025 Golden Joystick Awards, now open for voting until October 31.
Set in the haunting ruins of New Dawn, a world inspired by Nowa Huta, a real historical district in Kraków, Poland, Cronos: The New Dawn unfolds across two timelines: a post-apocalyptic future decaying in despair, and the gritty, industrial 1980s reality. This powerful duality blends retro realism, dystopian sci-fi, and a retro-futuristic atmosphere to create a deeply immersive world filled with tension, mystery, and terror. Players step into the hunting suit of the Traveler — an enigmatic agent of the Collective, sent into zones scarred by the Change, a cataclysmic event that shattered time, memory, and flesh. What remains is a world suspended between past and future — haunted, hostile, and unravelling. Survival is anything but certain.
