It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time, we're looking at Infinity Nikki on Steam. This game might have some of the cutest character models I've seen this year.
At the start of the game, you learn the basics of gameplay and controls. You play as Nikki and get sent to another world, Miraland, to revive the Miracle Outfits and save the world. Along the way, you will find sketches to craft new outfits that have special properties. One will allow you to float in the air whereas another might allow you to catch bees. You will have to discover which outfit you need for each task.
Before I started playing the game, I didn't know that Infinity Nikki was a gatcha game, like Genshin Impact or AFK Journey. You will be able to buy as well as find different pieces of clothing or accessories to make your normal outfit look nice. You'll also be able to craft special outfits from the gatcha pool of clothing. This game was also giving off Super Mario 64 vibes where you were rewarded with Whimstars by doing certain tasks. Those could range from finding Whimstars in locations to completing quests. Customization is going to be fun in this game because you can basically make Nikki look anyway you see fit. If you have the clothing, then you can craft the look.
