It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Views, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. Today, we're checking out Honeyland on the Nintendo Switch!
Bears love honey so it's our job to help guide our bear friend to the pot full of the stuff. That sounds simple enough right? You will have to use your puzzle solving skills to get through all the levels in the game and grab all that tasty honey. You have to make your way through each level and get to the honey pot in a certain number of steps. You have different cards and moves you can make to get to the honey. For example, you can jump over holes and in turn, takes more steps. You'll also be able to waste cards so you can turn around on a spot and use a directional card you have to keep going.
You have the option to restart a level and if you make a slight mistake, restarting will be your best friend. The levels are short enough that you don't mind restarting and trust me, some of the later stages get quite challenging. The stages range from simple to looking simple where one wrong move means no honey for you! One thing I would have really liked was a speed up button. There was a restart button but the bear moves a little slow so a speedup option would have been a nice touch. Honeyland is a sweet puzzle game that's enjoyable and tough at the same time!
