Toyoko: The Tower of Perpetuity allows players to take on the role of one of several anime-styled characters and attempt to scale a tower. Just walking up said tower won't be easy as there are several monsters on each floor along the way. Each character has different attacks so you'll have to find out which one you like best. Along the journey you stop at an inn and you can grab an item that will help in your mission. The items in the inn are permanent on your character until you die in battle. The ice cream, the health upgrade, was my goto since you could pick it everytime you got there. Being able to dash/air dash in these types of games would be nice but the tower floors aren't too big so it isn't too big of a deal. You'll have to make decisions that will alter the build of the tower as you go and you never really know if your choice will be good or bad. There are boss fights that you'll come across as well and you will need to find out which weapons work best for you as the bosses won't roll over and die for you. Check out the Chichuki Views video below to see a playthrough as well as find out why I gave Toyoko: The Tower of Perpetuity an 8.5 out of 10.
