Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed Hands on/Thoughts

I recently received a review code from XSEED Games for Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed. If you've ever wanted to take a tour of Akihabara in Japan, then this is the place for you. Long story short, you are trying to help out your friend and get attacked by a vampire-like guy in the process. Without giving away too much of the story at the start of the game, the result of that vampire attack turns you into one, trying to keep the surrounding area safe from Shadow Souls. The voice acting for the game is fantastic but I wouldn't expect anything else from XSEED Games. That being said, the combat leaves a lot to be desired where a lock-on button would have been great here. I found myself attacking the wrong person several times and when it takes such a long time to strip down/kill one enemy, attacking the wrong enemy and having them gang up on you is such a pain. Check out the playthrough video below to see some hands on time as well as my thoughts about the game.
