GameCube Anthology Kickstarter Ending Soon

Nostalgia sells in this game called life and what better way to capitalize on it than to remind you of all the good times you once had. Nintendo does it all the time and it works great; how else can you explain them releasing the same game multiple times? Anyway, Some of the stories of the past are very interesting and people deserve to hear them. Allow me to bring Geeks-Line to the conversation and if you don’t know what they’re all about, they’re a publisher that brings you the history of consoles so you don’t have to search for it.

They have already created a Nintendo 64 Anthology and a PlayStation Anthology and their next Kickstarter project, which ends Jan. 13, is a GameCube Anthology. The Nintendo GameCube is an interesting system because it released without a Super Mario game to headline its launch. It gave Luigi the spotlight, something Nintendo never did in the early days of console launches but now it is common place to release a system without a Mario game. It also saw franchises have slight changes in them like the Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker and Super Mario Sunshine. It also had the dubious fortune to follow in the Nintendo 64’s footsteps which is like following in Michael Jordan’s footsteps. If there was anything that you wanted to know about the Gamecube, this is the book for you!

If you’re interested in backing the Kickstarter, you can check out the information page and see more details about the GameCube Anthology. Personally, I thinking being able to see all the software titles that were released as well as all the design decisions that went into making the GameCube would be fascinating to read.
