Destiny 2 game director Luke Smith will deliver the opening "Storytime" keynote at PAX West 2017, taking place Sept. 1-4 in Seattle, WA.
Smith joined Bungie in 2007, two years after publishing a feature titled "Broken Halo: Five Ways Bungie Can Fix Halo 2" during his time as News Editor at 1UP.com. Since then, he has worked on Halo: Reach and Destiny as a systems designer, in addition to acting as the lead designer for Destiny's raids and the creative director for both Destiny: The Taken Kingand Destiny 2.
Additional panels taking place at PAX West 2017 include Gearbox Software's "Inside Gearbox," Monolith Soft's "Middle Earth: Shadow of War," and CD Projekt RED's "Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of The Witcher." PAX West 2017 will also feature a wealth of exhibitors, including Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Bethesda, Bandai Namco, and other major publishers, in addition to an array of well-known and up-and-coming independent developers showcasing their latest projects in the expo halls.
