Graceful Explosion Machine, the vibrant side-scrolling arcade shooter from Vertex Pop, is out now for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam for $12.99 / €12.99.
As the lone survivor of an alien attack, players pilot the Graceful Explosion Machine to battle waves of enemies on colorful distant planets with four ludicrously overpowered weapons.
This quad-weapon array allows players to quickly switch between a blaster, an energy sword, missiles, and a sniper beam to accommodate whatever challenge they face, all while becoming entranced by an ethereal, synth-driven soundtrack. Combos replenish players' ammunition, encouraging aggressive gameplay.
In addition to 30+ levels across four visually-distinct planets, a scoring system enables players to compete for the top spot on the leaderboard. Extensive statistics and ranking systems are in place to give high-score junkies a multitude of reasons to replay Graceful Explosion Machine and master the game's challenges.
"Graceful Explosion Machine is a wonderful experience, whether you want to show off your skills or just chill out with the gorgeous music and visuals," said Mobeen Fikree, Founder, Vertex Pop. "Our game has received glowing reviews from press and players and we're happy to finally welcome the PlayStation 4 and PC communities into the fold."
Graceful Explosion Machine is playable in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese. The game is also available worldwide for Nintendo Switch and is currently on sale via the Nintendo eShop across both North America and Europe for 30% off through Aug. 15, 2017.
