The World of Warcraft is always expanding and this time around, the world of WOW eSport is expanding for the Mystic Dungeon Invitational. Players from all over the world will compete to be the best and settle the age-old question of “who is a better mystic dungeon explorer?”
However, players will need to prove themselves before they can compete in the tournament and the only way they can do that is by competing in the Proving Grounds portion of the tourney. The Proving Grounds run from July 25 to August 8 and by the looks of things, you’ll need a pretty high score/level to even think to compete. Your performance will be judged over five dungeons in which your team of five achieves the highest keystone level. There is no need to sign up but at the end of the two-week Proving Ground, you will need to submit your top score. 32 teams make the cut for the tourney, 8 from the Americas, Europe, China, and Asia-Pacific so practice hard!
Each team isn’t playing just for the love of the game, there is a large cash prize of 50,000 dollars on the line for first place at the Big Showdown. All eight Big Showdown teams are playing for a pooled 100,000 but 2-8th place win a lot less than the grand prizewinners so make sure you come out victorious!
