Space Ape Games (Samurai Siege, Rival Kingdoms, TRANSFORMERS: EARTH WARS) is putting the pedal to the metal with today’s launch of Fastlane: Road to Revenge, an evolved arcade shooter and the developer’s first title outside of the build and battle genre. The game, available today as a FREE download on the Apple App Store and Google Play, delivers a massive shot of adrenaline and style into mobile gaming. From the huge motley crew of characters--many played by some of YouTube’s biggest gaming personalities--to the powerful vehicle upgrades, outrageous events and fully customizable soundtrack with Apple Music integration, Fastlane: Road to Revenge is sure to get your pulse racing.
Game Description - In Fastlane: Road to Revenge, you used to be the No. 1 boss, but someone crossed you and took everything. Now chaos runs the streets. You want to be top dog again? You have to earn it, one step, one rung at a time. It’s war on every front, on every gang boss and versus all players worldwide. Reclaim your turf, crush your rivals and let the Big Boss know you’re coming. Inspired by classic arcade shooters from the ’80s like Spy Hunter and 1942, Fastlane: Road to Revenge is a one-handed retro arcade shooter with RPG elements, designed to be played in short bursts. Players chase high scores in multiplayer leagues and leaderboards, collect, upgrade and customize exotic cars and unlock devastating vehicle transformations!
In-Game Events with Celebrity YouTubers - Fastlane: Road to Revenge launches with a one-of-a-kind partnership that expands upon its already memorable roster of characters, adding to the game more than 20 popular YouTube personalities, including Kwebbelkop, Jelly, Slogoman, The Alvaro845, MasterOV, Chief Pat, Team Epiphany Jake, Coleson, SmithPlays, Galadon, JoblessGamer, Ecliphse, Azzyland, iamSanna, ClashonGan, Bootramp, AndroiMers, Leah Ashe, Epic Voice Guy, TheGameHuntah and SoooMungry. Each YouTuber worked closely with developers to create their own authentic in-game persona – down to their name, vehicle, missions, item drops and rewards. Starting today, players can take part in an in-game launch event featuring the 20 YouTubers followed by exclusive new weekly events starring both established and upcoming YouTubers.
Apple Music Integration - Music is one of the biggest style-drivers in Fastlane: Road to Revenge, influencing everything from the world to the characters that inhabit it. The game not only incorporates an eclectic library of music, it also allows players with an Apple Music subscription to sync their accounts to the game and create more personalized in-game soundtracks and receive in-game rewards.
