One of the most beloved franchises around is the Transformers so the direction the property is going for their next mobile game is interesting. Forged to Fight has colliding realities and that means you can play and combine your favorite Autobots/Decepticons/Dinobots whatever together to fight for you.
If your favorite series is the Beast Wars franchise and you want to have Transformers from there, you can. If you want tot use Autobots from the original cartoon, you can. That’s the fun part about being able to use/combine any Transformers.
You get the opportunity the have your Transformers defend your base. Other players online will attempt to take over your base but your job is to put up a strong defense. When you aren’t defending your base, your fighting in lovely 3d and the controls couldn’t be any simpler.
All you do is use different taps and swipes to attack. You transform and perform an attack and then turn back into your base model for that particular transformer. The battles are in 3d as are the environments and the environments are interact-able. You can destroy things in the environment or will need to destroy something so you don’t take damage.
It was interesting to hear from the developer of the game how Hasbro wasn’t too comfortable allowing Autobots and Decepticons to team up. It was the success of the Marvel franchise doing a similar idea of good/bad team ups that allowed Transformers Forged To Fight to get off the ground.
